In Memory of Zack FairAll I heard were gunshots, lots of them. There were loud, muffled bangs and clicking coming from all around me and my head started spinning. I heard the cries of men falling one by one as I was slowly becoming aware of my surroundings, aware of what was happening in front of my very eyes. The last thing I could clearly remember is lying limp on the stairs next to Zack in the Nibleheim Mako Reactor. And pain. I remembered a lot of pain and the feeling of desperation as we waited for someone to realize we were gone and to find us. Flashes of brief memories popped in and out of my mind as time went on. Many new details on 'Lightning Returns'UPDATE: "From a story perspective, Lightning has had a strong will and courage that allowed her to take a stand against the gods and to continue fighting. Whoa. Will she not be able to save the world at all? Will she end up having to put up with Novus Partus, unable to restore the original world? Or is this a metaphorical/figurative thing? What do you guys think?

Lightning Saga: New Developments [+ observations]In nine days, we will see what is meant by A Storm Gathers, the project to be formally announced by Square Enix come 1 September 2012. With the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary event and PAX 2012 going on at the same time, we're about to receive a double whammy, I just know it.
If this is a game, which I am desperately hoping it is, I have already decided that, unlike the first two XIII games, I will not spoil the ending for myself when it receives a release in Japan ahead of the United States.
What do you think?
The website calls to mind "A Survivor Is Born", the two-page spread in an issue of GameInformer long ago that caused such a ruckus of excitement that many Tomb Raider fans, such as myself, simply could not contain themselves. I still have that issue, and just thinking about it brings back some odd feelings of nostalgia. Hello, as you may or may not know, =GenesisArclite handed off the group to me, so I am the new founder! Ahhh! You don't know how excited I am to be the new founder of this group!
